The Historical Society of Washington, D.C. is engaged in every neighborhood of the District, bringing in family visitors, D.C. school children, and more than 200,000 visits each year to the Historical Society’s websites. Our Corporate Engagement Plan offers three ways for businesses to become involved in the work of the Historical Society:

1 | SPONSORSHIP of selected exhibitions, education programs, and other activities.

2 | EVENT PARTICIPATION at the annual Making D.C. history Awards and other events where proceeds support Historical Society activities.

3 | SUPPORT the Historical Society’s mission through the Annual Fund Campaign, special initiatives, and project funds.

The Historical Society of Washington, D.C. is a 501(c)(3) community-supported educational and research organization that collects, interprets, and shares the history of our nation's capital. Since 1894, the Historical Society has served D.C.'s diverse audiences with unique collections, educational public programs, exhibits, and publications.
