D.C. Fire and EMS Museum History Tour

Join the Historical Society for a lively discussion and tour of the D.C. Fire & EMS Museum! Housed on the third floor of historic D.C. Engine Co. 3, the Museum is operated by the volunteer Friendship Fire Association, and through fire buckets and fire boxes, with helmets and badges, and via a multitude of additional fire fighting gear traces the history of the fire department back to the late 1800s.

This free program will take place at the D.C. Fire & EMS Museum and will include a talk about the history of fire fighting in the District of Columbia and a guided tour of the Museum’s collection.
