Joy of Method: Research to Writing
Saturday, February 18, 2017
12:00 – 2:00 p.m.
Kiplinger Research Library
Details make the story. Narratives are bolstered by the details an author can offer – and the archive is often a rich location for the details, inspiration, and hints the bring a narrative to life. Join the Historical Society of Washington, D.C. for a workshop focused on how writers can cull the archive to enhance their writing. Using the long history of author’s use of the archive as a resource for writing, participants will get a behind-the-scenes view of the Historical Society’s archives and an opportunity to explore how to incorporate archival research into their writing.
