Just in time for next week’s Making D.C. History Awards on November 5 (get your tickets!) and the Smithsonian’s Save Our African American Treasures program on November 8 and 9, the Historical Society of Washington, D.C. has put up new banners around its home in the Carnegie Library at Mt. Vernon Square.
The new blue-and-red banners replace signage that was taken down earlier this year for a special event. The Historical Society thanks our partners at Events D.C., which manages the historic property, for their help to install the banners. Additional signage at the front door and inside the building will help guide visitors to the Carnegie Library. Let us know what you think!
