“A Guide to Civil War Washington, D.C.: The Capital of the Union,” by Cindy Janke, History Press, 2013. Cindy served as curator of the Kiplinger Washington Collection and has put together two iterations of the exhibit here at HSW.
“Historic Restaurants of Washington, D.C.: Capital Eats,” by John DeFerrari, American Palate, 2013. Soon after the book came our, word spread that another historic restaurant – SW Waterfront’s Pier 7 – would close its doors.
